Q: How do I remove Gun-Tite?
A: Our Gun-Tite is removable unlike other Lock-Tite products that are made to be permanent. If applied and hardened, using a hair dryer, heat up the area where you want to remove it. It will heat to a gummy substance, which you can wipe off with rubbing alcohol or lacquer thinner. Repeat as needed.
Q: Can I install a barrel band on my extended mag tube?
A: No, it will compress the tube and mess up the spring and follower.
Q: How Do I install a stud in the buttstock of my shotgun?
A: Is it hollow? Most shotguns will have a section where the manufacture has added more material for a stud installation. Before the customer drills any holes, recommend that the customer remove the recoil pad to determine where the thicker section is. If there is not a section that is thick enough to use a 1/2" wood screw, send the customer a machine screw with a nut.
